Ordering and pricing
How much does a part cost?
For a print-ready model, upload a STEP, STL or 3MF file on the Get a Quote page and you will get an instant price. Design work, machining, a production run of 50 pieces or more, or anything else that is not a ready-to-print model gets a custom quote, which is free, with no obligation. See how our pricing works.
Do you check my file before printing?
Yes. Every file is reviewed for manufacturability before it prints.
How do I pay?
Instant orders are paid by card on Stripe's secure page at checkout. Custom-quoted orders are paid from your order page once the price is ready.
How fast can I get my parts?
Lead times for each process and tier are on the turnaround page. Pick Expedited or Rush on the instant quote page for a shorter lead time. If you have a hard deadline, tell us up front.
Files and design
What file formats do you accept?
The instant quote takes STEP, STL and 3MF files, up to 100 MB per upload. For custom quotes we also work from OBJ, SLDPRT, SLDASM, F3D, PDF drawings, photos, or just a sketch and a description; attach them through the quote or contact form.
I don't have a 3D model. Can you still help?
Yes. We do full CAD design, reverse engineering from a sample or measurements, and file repair. Send a photo, a hand sketch, a broken part, or a napkin drawing and we will turn it into a CAD model. See 3D modeling and CAD.
Can you scan or copy an existing part?
Yes. Bring or ship us the part and we scan it, then hand back what the job needs: a clean mesh to print, a workable STEP file you can build on, or a fully rebuilt parametric CAD model. If you want, we print or machine the part in the same job. See 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
Do you keep my design confidential?
Yes, your files, drawings, and project details are treated as confidential and are used only to quote and produce your parts, and we are happy to sign a mutual NDA before you send anything. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Materials and quality
Which materials can I choose from?
For 3D printing: standard plastics like PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA, flexible TPU, engineering grades like polycarbonate and nylon, and high-temperature plastics like PEEK and PEI (Ultem), many also in carbon- or glass-filled grades. SLA resin comes in nine families. For machining: aluminum, steel, stainless, brass and bronze, and machinable plastics. The 3D printing and machining selectors help you narrow it down, and the resin materials section covers each SLA family; tell us what the part needs to do, and we'll recommend an option for the quote.
What tolerances can you hold?
If a dimension has to be held, tell us before you order and we agree it on the quote.
What checks happen before my parts ship?
Every part is checked before it ships. For a measured report or a first article, ask in the custom quote form.
Delivery
Can I pick up my order, and where do you ship?
Pickup is at our shop, 3430 Buffalo Ave, Suite B, North Charleston, by appointment only, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm: call or text (843) 259-2264 to set a time. When you pay at checkout, you choose pickup or shipping there, or contact us to ship outside the US. US shipping is free.
Can I cancel an order?
Tell us as soon as you can. We refund your payment less the work already done and the materials already committed to the job, as the Terms of Service set out.
What if something arrives wrong?
Check your order when it arrives and tell us within 7 days. If a part is defective or does not match the approved file and quote because of our error, we reprint, remake or refund it. Full detail is in our Terms of Service.
