Foaming PEBA

A foaming version of PEBA: lighter and more cushioned, with about the same rebound as solid PEBA.

Best for

  • Foamed midsoles
  • Sport padding
  • Robot grippers

Not the right choice for

  • Load-bearing parts
  • Close tolerances
  • Hot places

Foaming PEBA as a printed part

Foaming PEBA prints about 25 to 45 percent lighter than solid PEBA, and the lighter it is printed the softer it gets. The foamed surface is a soft matte texture that feels like soft fabric.
